  14. DESCRIPTION

  16. Unios is an application that will come in handy whenever you need 
  17. to convert units.  The application is quick, easy to use, and has 
  18. built in support for lots of units in the categories of currency, 
  19. capacity, distance, pressure, speed, temperature, surface area, 
  20. time, volume, and weight.
  21.  
  22. There's no problem even if the units you want aren't on the list 
  23. because Unios is flexible enough to let you define custom units.
  24.  
  25. There's also a feature that lets you perform quick conversions 
  26. between two units when you know their relationship to a third, 
  27. common unit.

  29. Whether your goal is to put something in units you can understand, 
  30. find a common denominator to use for calculations, or satisfy your 
  31. curiosity, Unios can give you conversions in a flash.

  47. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  50. - Enough free disk space to accommodate the software (less than 0.5MB).

  60. INSTALLATION

  62. Close the application if it is currently running, then run the 
  63. SetupUnios.exe file and follow the instructions.

  66. UPGRADES

  68. Close the application if it is currently running, then install 
  69. the new version on top of the old one, unless otherwise specified 
  70. in this file.

  73. UNINSTALLATION
  74.  
  75. Close the application if it is currently running.  Click the Windows 
  76. "Start" button, and select "Settings", then "Control Panel".  
  77. Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs item".  Proceed by 
  78. double-clicking the line corresponding to this product and follow 
  79. the instructions.

  81. Note that configuration files, generally with a ".dat" extension, 
  82. and registration files, namely "Registration Form.txt", may be 
  83. created by the application and will not be deleted for your 
  84. convenience in case you wish to refer to them at a later date.  
  85. Delete these files manually if you do not want them.
